IRWIN ENTERPRISES HAS BEEN BUILDING THE MOST COMPLEX, PRECISION MOLDS SINCE 1994.
Our tooling department is considered by our customers to be the best source for manufacturing plastic injection molds. Whether your need is for an aluminum prototype, hardened high-volume production mold, or anything in between, our quick lead times will help you get new projects to production fast. Speed and accuracy are driven by the latest in CAD/CAM technologies and our highly skilled tool makers. With in-house CNC machining, CNC EDM, heat treating and polishing, we have control through the whole process.
MOLDING
IRWIN ENTERPRISES MOLDING DEPARTMENT IS QUALITY DRIVEN.
We are capable of molding parts with extremely tight tolerances and dimensional requirements. Customer part quantities range from a few hundred to millions on presses ranging from 28 tons to 300 tons. We run wide range of thermoplastic materials, with a specialized area of engineering grade and filled materials. Examples of some of the material we use are: ABS, Acetal, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, Nylon, Polycarbonate, and PVC. Many additives are also used such as custom colorant, fiberglass, UV stabilizers, and flame retardants.
Mold maintenance and repairs are completed with the same quality techniques that are applied in building a new tool. Molds are routinely cleaned and serviced to maintain high part quality. With our tool room in the same building, we have shorter down times and quicker turnarounds with the same high quality mold guarantee.
